Human Performance

Human performance isn’t about pushing harder—it’s about working smarter. Organisations need to create a human world of work where their workforce can thrive, innovate, and sustain their performance over the long term.

We facilitated a session with two performance psychologists who will redefine human performance in the workplace. This session challenged outdated concepts that prioritise relentless output at the expense of employee wellbeing.

The session addressed the profound impact of burnout on both individuals and organisations, emphasising the need for a balanced and supportive environment where wellbeing is the cornerstone of sustained success.

Hosted by encountas Performance Psychologist and Executive Coach Liz Gould and joined by Greg Prescott, Performance Psychologist, Executive Coach, Facilitator and Mental Health Expert, you will gain actionable strategies to redefine performance in your organisation, focusing on fostering a culture that supports individuals mental, emotional, and physical health for long-term success.

In this session, we covered:

Rethinking Performance: How we think about and define performance, shifting the focus from role descriptions to the individual. Learn how to discuss performance in a tactical way that integrates personal development.

Leading Performance vs. Managing Performance: How to lead and inspire performance rather than simply managing it. Empower individuals to take accountability for their performance and to understand their own capabilities and how they can deliver results effectively.

Performance Strategies: Opportunities to enhance and expand existing performance methodologies. Discuss what additional elements are needed and the critical conversations required to support these enhancements.

Unlocking Performance: Examine the different types and frequencies of feedback necessary to support high performance. Discover how to lead performance through a safety lens, ensuring a foundational level of psychological safety.
